Dining Experience
Members agree that dining is more than just an evening meal, it’s
a culinary event, because of the passion and vision of Chef Mike
Heiney, Executive Chef and Director of Dining Services at Homestead
Hills. “Everyone in our community is important, and deserves
the best we have to offer,“ says Chef Mike.
This philosophy has served him well in the restaurant, catering and five-star hotel venues throughout his career. The a la carte menu in the Salem Dining Room is a perfect example. Included are a variety of delectable entrees, all cooked to order. Residents also may select from daily Signature dishes such as Baked Meat Loaf, Sun-dried Tomato Encrusted Mahi Mahi, and Moravian Chicken Pie.
There’s a Soup and Salad Bar for a lighter fare, and a Dessert Bar for sweet endings. A traditional Sunday Brunch showcases favorites, such as prime rib, fried chicken, salmon and pit baked ham. The Men’s Country Breakfast, Ladies’ Brunch and a Wine and Cheese Social are monthly events. Scrumptious cookouts under a tent on the green enliven summer holiday.
The new clubhouse opened in May 2008 with an incredible kitchen and magnificent dining room. Chef Mike’s culinary expertise makes dinner one of the highlights of the day.
