Homestead Hills Retirement Community Welcomes Michael McCabe as Sous Chef

Winston-Salem, N.C. April 6, 2009 - Homestead Hills, a full-service retirement community located in Winston-Salem, adds Michael McCabe as their new Sous Chef.

As Sous Chef, McCabe will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the dining services programs within the community including supporting the efforts of recruitment, employment, performance, evaluation, promotion and discharge of all dietary staff under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Prior to joining Homestead Hills, McCabe worked as Executive Sous Chef for Dale Earnhardt Inc. in Mooresville, North Carolina; Executive Chef for Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey; Executive Sous Chef for Jordan Grand Hotel in Bethel, Maine; Chef / Instructor for Ocean County Vocational School in Bricktown, New Jersey; Executive Sous Chef for Beach House Restaurant in Spring Lake, New Jersey; and Sous Chef for Warren Hotel in Spring Lake, New Jersey.

McCabe has also had the pleasure of creating meals for celebrities such as: Yogi Beara, Barbara Bush, Ray Liota, Christine Todd Whitman, Cardinal John O'Conner, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
